Eco-friendly and sustainable product sourcing

We carefully select products based on their environmental and ethical credentials, prioritising items made from sustainable, biodegradable, organic, recycled, and vegan-friendly materials wherever possible.

We work closely with independent makers, artisan cooperatives, and responsible brands who share our values. Many of our pieces are handmade using traditional techniques, supporting skilled craftspeople and preserving cultural heritage while reducing reliance on mass production.

Every product is chosen for its durability and longevity, helping reduce waste and encouraging more sustainable ownership.

The Pangolins Eco Rating™ system

To provide greater transparency, we have introduced our Pangolins Eco Rating™ system.

Each product is assessed across key criteria including materials, packaging, longevity, and environmental impact. This allows customers to understand the sustainability profile of each item and make informed, environmentally responsible choices.

Our goal is not perfection, but progress — continually improving the environmental impact of everything we offer.

To help make conscious shopping easier, Pangolins uses its own Eco Rating™ system to evaluate the sustainability of each product.

Responsible packaging and fulfilment

We actively work to reduce packaging waste and environmental impact across every order.

Our packaging materials are recyclable, reusable, biodegradable, or compostable wherever possible, including FSC-certified card, natural papers, and responsibly sourced materials.

We prioritise UK-based fulfilment to reduce transport emissions and work continuously with suppliers to transition toward plastic-free protective packaging wherever possible.

Pangolins are the most trafficked mammals in the world, yet they remain among the least known.

Through Pangolins, we proudly support The Pangolin Project, helping raise awareness and contribute to conservation efforts that protect these extraordinary animals and their habitats.
