Matchawan Umi Matcha Bowl & Gift Set

Bring a sense of calm and ritual to your daily routine with the Matchawan Umi Matcha Bowl & Gift Set — a beautifully crafted piece inspired by centuries of Japanese tea tradition.

Thoughtfully reinterpreted by a small ceramic studio in Cracow, each bowl is hand-shaped from durable fireclay and finished with a distinctive glaze, meaning no two are exactly alike. Fired at high temperatures for strength and longevity, this is a piece designed to be used and enjoyed every day.

The traditional matchawan shape is both elegant and practical. Its tall sides help prevent splashing while whisking, while the wide base allows the bamboo whisk (chasen) to move freely — creating a smooth, velvety texture and delicate froth with ease.

Whether you’re just beginning your matcha ritual or refining a daily practice, this set offers a considered and beautifully made foundation for mindful preparation.

Choose your matcha:

• Premium Matcha – 30g
• Traditional Matcha – 30g
(Use water below 80°C to preserve flavour and quality.)
