The idea for Pangolins began when our founder, Susie, struggled to find thoughtful gifts for loved ones without feeling overwhelmed by choice or uncertain about quality — even in places that should have felt reassuring. Too often, gifting felt rushed and noisy, with little confidence in how products were made or where they came from.
Pangolins was created to offer a calmer alternative.

Pangolins began with a quiet frustration — and a very personal one.
When I went looking for gifts for the people I love most, I found endless choice, but wildly variable levels of quality — even in places that should have felt reassuring. The search for ideas often felt overwhelming, and rarely inspiring. Too much noise, not enough meaning.
I wanted gifting to feel calmer. More considered. A joy, rather than an exhausting task.
So I set out to create Pangolins — a place where every piece is thoughtfully chosen, quality is genuinely tried and tested, and each gift carries a sense of care. Not just for the recipient, but for the wider world too.
